Safe Harbor Farm & Rescue would like to thank everyone that contributed to our fundraiser. We were able to get some of the issue resolved with PayPal, so the funds that were donated helped to bridge the gap. The animals are very appreciative! Safe Harbor Farm and Rescue is also available as a vacation destination! You can experience life on the farm by booking a stay through Airbnb.
You will have the entire top floor as well as the spacious front porch with porch swing. There are 4 bedrooms (3 with queen beds, one kid's room with twin beds), private bath with dual sinks, TV room with giant bean bag chairs, small kitchenette (microwave, fridge, toaster, coffee maker - no sink), and washer/dryer. One of the bedrooms also has an attached room with a small desk and chair for working. Front door and front porch for your use alone. You and yours will be the only guests, use one room or all! 10 minutes from NC Zoo! Very isolated spot, totally quiet (except for animal noises)! We do have a gravel driveway but 4wd is not necessary. There are expansive grounds to ramble on - we have 35 acres here of mostly meadows with some forested areas, and two creeks.
We have cats who are not allowed upstairs... but they are cats. If you are allergic, this will not be your happy place! We are primarily a farm rescue - all our airbnb income supports the rescue - so there will be farm animal noises sometimes. (We do *not* have roosters, though!)
